WhatsApp Cloud API Setup (Existing WhatsApp Business)
Connect CMzon WhatsApp Cloud API with your existing WhatsApp Business account. Follow the steps carefully to ensure a smooth setup and migration.
Prerequisites
Before starting, ensure you have the following:
- An active CMzon account
- An active subscription plan
- Access to Facebook Business Manager
- An existing WhatsApp Business number
- Your WhatsApp Business app available on your mobile device
Step-by-Step Setup Guide
Follow these steps to connect your existing WhatsApp Business number
Create a CMzon Account
Sign up and verify your CMzon account
- Visit https://cmzon.com
- Create your account and complete email verification
- Log in to your CMzon dashboard
Activate a Subscription
Choose and activate your subscription plan
WhatsApp Cloud API setup is only available after subscription activation.
- Open the subscription page: https://cloud.cmzon.com/vendor-console/subscription
- Select the appropriate subscription plan
- Complete the payment process
- Confirm that your subscription status is Active
Open WhatsApp Cloud API Setup
Navigate to the setup page
- Navigate to: https://cloud.cmzon.com/vendor-console/settings/whatsapp-cloud-api-setup
- The WhatsApp Cloud API setup screen will load
Connect WhatsApp with Facebook
Initiate the Facebook authentication process
- Click the blue "Connect WhatsApp With Facebook" button
- A Facebook authentication popup will appear
Facebook Business Manager Configuration
Log in and approve permissions
- Log in using your existing Facebook Business Manager account
- Or create a new Business Manager if required
- Approve all requested permissions
Connect Your Existing WhatsApp Business Number
Link your WhatsApp Business app via QR code
- Select "Connect existing WhatsApp app"
- Enter your WhatsApp Business phone number
- A QR code will be displayed on screen
- Open the WhatsApp Business app on your phone
- Scan the QR code to authorize access
Chat & Account Migration
Approve data sharing and complete migration
- Approve chat and data sharing when prompted
- Allow the migration process to complete
- Processing time may vary based on chat history size
Final Verification & Completion
Wait for verification and setup completion
- Wait for Facebook and CMzon to finish verification
- The setup will complete automatically once approved
- Your WhatsApp number is now connected to CMzon WhatsApp Cloud API

Common Issues & Troubleshooting
Issue: QR code not scanning
- Ensure WhatsApp Business app is updated
- Try refreshing the setup page and re-scan
Issue: Facebook permissions denied
- Make sure you are an admin of the Business Manager
- Reconnect and allow all requested permissions
Issue: Setup stuck in processing
- Wait a few minutes; migration may take time
- Do not close the browser during setup
